We are now one of the largest NHS GP Practices in Wandsworth and are proud to be able to offer our patients a wide range of NHS Primary Care services from our modern and easily accessed premises in the heart of Putney.

We are committed to delivering high quality NHS care locally and take great pride in being an accredited training practice for trainee medical students, doctors and nurses. We are always looking to improve and develop our services and value your feedback.

Recent Developments:

Putneymead Group was formed following the merger of three long-established local GP practices, namely: The Putney Surgery,  Balmuir Gardens Surgery and Putneymead Medical Centre.

In July 2011 we moved into our current modern and spacious building at 266 Upper Richmond Road which we feel provides our patients with exceptional access to a whole host of NHS services in easily accessible and comfortable surroundings fit for the 21st century.

We now have two wheelchair compliant lifts, a number of bicycle rails and two disabled parking bays on-site for our patients. We are a short walk away from the Putney mainline and East Putney underground stations and on a number of local bus routes.

Other services in the building

Within the building at 266 Upper Richmond Road there are also 3 independent healthcare-organisations offering private physical therapies, podiatry, consultant clinics, minor operations, imaging and pharmacy services. 

You do not need to be a patient at Putneymead Group to access these services as they are independent organisations open to everyone. Please click on the 'Other service on-site' button on the right hand menu for further details or pop in for a visit.
